Finally!

So, My shipment of Merino fibre FINALLY arrived! It took my supplier nearly 2 months to get it to me, but it is here, and I can start dying for pinknits as soon as all this rain stops. There have been so many delays on this exciting venture and I feel really bad about having to keep pushing back when Cilla will get the Yarn I have promised her. Now I can finally get the whole lot sorted. :) And there is good news for my customers too! I have enough here to add some stock to the online shop as well, so i will soon be stocking hand dyed roving in the shop again! It has been a while, But I am hoping to add a fairly decent range of OOAK rovings in both 22 and 18 micron. So keep an eye out for fibre updates in the shop in the coming month.

Health Problems

So I have been having problems with my health of late, and recently spent 3 days in hospital receiving treatment for this ongoing illness. It was a pretty scary ordeal, being admitted at 2 am because of severe pain and spending the first 24 hours on morphine - and the pain still not going away. Needless to say this is really going to affect my ability to restock for the new year. I have plans to do a major restock of sock weight and DK hand dyed yarns in the new year, but It may need to be delayed while I am laid up.

I have been put on a crash diet by my surgeon because he wants me to have surgery to hopefully correct the source of my problem, and for that I will need to lose weight first. I will keep people posted about how it is going, and will also keep people up to date about how things are going with the conceived future update. I expect that when it happens, it will be spectacular.

I aim to be producing a range of sock yarns that are repeatable - so in essence, if you come and buy one skein, you should be able to come back another time and get something pretty similar. I am hoping to move towards a more consistent approach to dying, although I will still be doing the OOAK skeins, as they are what I love the most.

Well good luck and a happy Christmas to all!
